USS Liberty: In my song Road to Palestine there is a spoken reference: "Remember the Liberty..."
It's right there at the end of the third verse. Well, just to make sure that you do remember the Liberty, check this website. It's written by a former crewman of the US Navy ship that was attacked by Israeli aircraft & torpedo boats in 1967.
Funny thing... the US did nothing about it. They even recalled their aircraft that had been scrambled to intervene...
Rachel Corrie Memorial Website: My song, Road to Palestine, makes a reference to Rachel Corrie, a young US peace activist killed in Palestine in 2003. Visit this link to learn more about this tragic event & the greater tragedy of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.

3MDR 97.1FM: "The voice of the Dandenongs" in Victoria, Australia. Not just top 40 trash here, these guys play some fine music. In particular check out "Folk on the Fringe" on Wednesday nights.
